We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Accounting Manager to join our team in San Antonio, TX. This full‑time, permanent position offers an opportunity to play a pivotal role in our financial management, including direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, job costing, legal, property management, deal analysis, investor relationships, and financing.

• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
• Coordinate and prepare internal and external financial statements.
• Coordinate activities of external auditors.
• Manage the budget process.
• Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions.
• Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts.
• Provide financial analysis tools to evaluate company ventures or special projects, programs, capital expenditures, and products costing.
• Work with senior teams to grow the business through financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements.
• Implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting process.
• Oversee the financial operations of subsidiary companies and foreign operations.
• Manage any third parties to which accounting or finance functions have been outsourced.
• Monitor debt levels and compliance with debt covenants.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in a managerial finance or accounting position.
• Proven experience in financial reporting, financial planning, and analysis.
• Proficient in corporate finance and internal controls.
• Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
• Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting best practices, laws, standards, and state/national regulations.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in accounting software.
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to work without direct supervision, and efficiently manage tasks and time.
• Merger and acquisition finance experience.
• CPA or MBA preferred.
