We are seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Finance to assist in leading day‑to‑day finance operations for this celebrated property undergoing a 40 million‑dollar refresh.

The resort features 496 guest rooms, 34 boutique‑style villas, 115,000 sq ft of indoor/outdoor event space, a golf course, and a luxurious spa. As the hotel’s first Signia by Hilton property in Texas, it offers unique opportunities for growth and development.

• Lead the finance department, including special projects, performance monitoring, supervision, professional development, and team member recruitment.
• Directly oversee Accounts Receivable, Credit and Night Audit functions.
• Create and maintain the budget, ensuring spending controls meet budgetary limits.
• Prepare annual depreciation schedules for furniture, equipment, building supplies, revisions, and alterations.
• Approve all ledger account reconciliations, including bank statements, assets, liabilities, and credit cards.
• Coordinate and review monthly financial statements, monitor cash receipt coding, and prepare utilities and telephone accruals.
• Assist the Director with internal daily audits of cash deposits, transfers, and capital budget preparation.
• Prepare financial reports, ensure compliance with billing and credit standards, and review tax returns for federal and state regulations.
• Oversee payroll accounts and issue all paychecks.

• Background in hotel Accounting/Finance.
• Minimum 2–3 years of management experience.
• Strong analytical and customer‑service skills.
• Mid/Expert Microsoft Excel proficiency.
