Overview
San Antonio – Financial Advisor with Alamo Associates (Team Sponsored Launch) s Team-Sponsored Launch role supports an existing Thrivent team in a new market, offering a pathway to become a financial advisor while gaining licensing support, training, and development opportunities.
Responsibilities- Meet with potential clients to build genuine, long-term relationships based on shared values and goals.
- Empower clients to make knowledgeable financial decisions about education, investments, insurance, and retirement.
- Build a strong personal network through local nonprofits, churches, and businesses for future growth.
- Develop skills and best practices to become a successful financial advisor.
Candidates in the Team-Sponsored Launch model obtain the necessary licenses over 8 to 13 weeks (varies by individual). Licenses include:
- Resident state Life, Health and Annuity
- Securities Industry Essentials
- Series 6/63 or 7/66 (7/63 and 65)
After licensing, participants enroll in a comprehensive training program lasting up to 8 weeks.
What You Can ExpectAfter licensing and training, you’ll start building your book of business with the goal of joining the sponsoring team as a traditional financial advisor within three months to three years. During this period, typical activities include:
- Meeting with potential clients to build genuine, long-term relationships based on shared values and goals.
- Empowering clients to make knowledgeable financial decisions about education, investments, insurance, and retirement.
- Building a strong personal network through local nonprofits, churches, and businesses for future growth.
- Developing skills and best practices to be a successful financial advisor.
