Base: $15.00/hr – $18.00/hr (actual pay based on skills and experience).

An Andretti Go‑Kart Mechanic anticipates guest needs and exceeds service expectations while maintaining a fun and exciting atmosphere. The role includes assisting guests and upholding Andretti Indoor Karting & Games’ high standards of quality and guest satisfaction.

• Welcome visitors with a friendly, positive greeting.
• Project and articulate racing requirements and safety guidelines to guests confidently.
• Provide a safe racing experience for every participating guest.
• Perform kart repairs and regular performance maintenance checks.
• Maintain proper kart appearance and functionality.
• Handle emergency situations as directed.
• Conscientiously maintain, repair and clean karts and tracks.
• Ensure tools are used properly and stored in locked cabinets.
• Process guest races in the Point of Sale and timing systems.
• Observe, instruct and monitor guests for safety and guideline adherence.
• Assist with guest recovery and notify management to ensure positive experiences.
• Maintain working knowledge of Andretti brand, product and policies and procedures.
• Communicate clearly and professionally while interacting enthusiastically with guests and co‑workers.
• Be aware of facility emergency procedures.
• Perform opening, running and closing department duties as assigned.
• Prior guest service or hospitality experience is preferred.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Desire and ability to stay pleasant, upbeat and sociable throughout the workday.
• Ability to work a varied schedule, including days, nights, holidays and weekends.

• Walk or stand for extended periods of time.
• Lift up to 15 lbs. regularly.
• Perform tasks that require organization, bending, reaching, turning, lifting, climbing, and occasional stocking up to 50 lbs.
• Communicate quickly and accurately.
• Work in environments with bright, dim, flashing lights and loud sounds.
• Use manual dexterity to operate equipment.
• Understand, follow and maintain safety standards at all times.
