This is a seasonal position at Six Flags Fiesta Texas. As a Rides Team Lead, you will assist Ride Supervisors in the day‑to‑day operation of the Rides Department by promoting teamwork and a supportive learning environment for all Team Members. Key duties include:

• Working closely with Ride Supervisors to manage day‑to‑day operations.
• Supporting the implementation and enforcement of safety standards, training procedures, and emergency protocols.
• Assisting with staffing needs, scheduling, and managing crew rotations.
• Coaching crew members to achieve throughput goals and minimize wait times.
• Communicating effectively with guests, team members, and leadership to pass along important information.
• Maintaining programs related to Safety, Friendliness, Cleanliness, Appearance, and Guest Satisfaction.
• Performing all other duties as assigned or necessary to support the Rides Department and Fiesta Texas.

• Provides first‑class guest service and resolves issues with upset guests.
• Demonstrates complete knowledge of safety requirements and meets all safety standards.
• Enforces a total safety culture for all Team Members, including training and emergency procedures.
• Efficiently manages multiple tasks, including training team members and overseeing ride operations.
• Coordinates and trains all team members on rides and daily operations, providing continuous on‑the‑job training.
• Develops training plans for on‑the‑job rides training, supporting both short‑term and long‑term success.
• Team player with professional, friendly interactions among team members, leads, supervisors, and senior leadership.
• Actively promotes teamwork and a supportive learning environment.
• Proactively seeks opportunities to improve the department and team through initiative and ideas.
• Assists in maintaining appropriate staffing levels, scheduling, and time‑off requests.
• Creates and maintains a strong team environment to increase retention, motivation, and morale.
• Coaches crews on achieving hourly throughput goals and minimizing line wait times through goal setting and consistent feedback.
• Assists with aspects of ride operation, including rotations, break assignments, and training.
• Effectively communicates staffing levels, important team member information, and potential safety hazards.
• Maintains all programs related to Safety, Friendliness, Cleanliness, Appearance, and Guest Satisfaction.
• Assists Ride Supervisors in daily operations of the Rides Department and Ride Areas.
• Performs all other duties as assigned or necessary to support the Rides Department and Fiesta Texas.
• Management reserves the right to change and/or add to these duties at any time.
