Base Pay Range$15.00/hr – $15.00/hr
Position SummaryAn Andretti Maintenance Associate is a part‑time role responsible for anticipating guest needs, exceeding guest service expectations, and maintaining a fun and exciting atmosphere. All positions assist guests in various areas while following Andretti Indoor Karting and Games high standards of quality and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Welcome visitors by greeting them in a friendly and positive manner.
- Repair, fix and maintain mechanical equipment and machines.
- Painting, plumbing, flooring, electrical, heating and air repair.
- Maintain grounds and parking lot including garden, mowing lawn, trimming, edging and collecting trash.
- Perform general cleanup of all areas of the building—dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, etc.
- Remove garbage daily from around the entire facility.
- Handle emergency clean‑ups as directed.
- Use cleaning chemicals, safety attire and tools properly.
- Complete inspections of all back‑of‑house and front‑of‑house areas with the Maintenance Manager.
- Observe, instruct, and monitor guests for safety and guideline adherence.
- Assist with guest recovery and notify manager to ensure positive guest experiences.
- Maintain a constant working knowledge of Andretti brand, products, policies and procedures.
- Communicate clearly and professionally while interacting enthusiastically with guests and fellow coworkers.
- Perform opening, running and closing department duties as assigned.
- Prior guest service or hospitality experience is preferred.
- Be aware and knowledgeable of facility emergency procedures.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Desire and ability to be pleasant, upbeat and sociable throughout the workday.
- Ability to work a varied schedule to include days, nights, holidays and weekends.
- Walk or stand for extended periods of time.
- Lift up to 15 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
- Perform functions requiring organization, bending, reaching, turning, lifting, climbing and occasional stocking up to 50 lbs.
- Communicate quickly and accurately.
- Work in environments with bright, dim or flashing lights and loud sounds.
- Require manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
- Maintain safety standards at all times.
