As a Mechanical Engineer Intern, you will gain hands-on experience working alongside industry experts, contributing to the design and development of advanced mechanical systems.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, prototyping, and testing of mechanical components and systems for aerospace applications.
- Conduct engineering calculations, simulations, and performance analyses to support design decisions.
- Utilize CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD) to create detailed models, schematics, and assembly instructions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical and software engineers, to develop innovative solutions.
- Participate in design reviews, providing constructive feedback and optimizing designs for manufacturability and performance.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving engineering challenges to improve system reliability and efficiency.
- Research materials, manufacturing techniques, and emerging technologies to support engineering decisions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company quality guidelines.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Fundamental understanding of mechanical design, thermodynamics, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience or coursework in CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD, or similar).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to interpret and create engineering schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation.
- Proficiency in FEA (Finite Element Analysis) or CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) is a plus.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities.
- Hands-on experience with real-world aerospace engineering projects.
