Systems Engineer

STS Government Solutions, LLC (SGS) is a Government Consulting and Contracting firm supporting missions throughout the world. SGS is seeking a System Engineer to join our team. The Systems Engineer's role is to support the project team for their new mission at Joint Base San Antonio, TX.

• Perform review of technical data packages and comprehensive technical specifications for the desired capability, incorporating applicable codes, standards, certification requirements, performance metrics, and desired product features.
• Document findings technical reports IAW CDRL A003, A004, A005, A006.
• Participate in project meetings. Meetings include:
  • Kick-off meetings
  • Weekly status meetings
  • Technical interchange meetings
  • Program Management Reviews (PMR)
  • Design reviews
  • Configuration audits
  • Acceptance events
  • Reverse Engineering
  • Assess technical data gaps and provide reports to the government IAW CDRL A007.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Bachelors degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering or related field required.
• At least 5+ years of recent relevant systems engineering experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to interface with contracting officers and senior site leadership
• Strong knowledge of requirements management, verification and validation, and configuration management.
• Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering - MBSE, JIRA or DOORS
