We are looking for an Experienced Weight Operation Technical Analyst to join the Flight Systems Capability team in San Antonio, TX
. This role supports Boeing Military Aircraft (B‑52), Military Derivative Aircraft (AWACS 767), Executive Transport (C‑32/C‑40, E‑4B, VC‑25A, VC‑25B), and other diverse aircraft and projects, providing engineering and technical decisions.
- Develop and update inventory equipment lists, conduct inventories, weigh aircraft, determine center of gravity, and document results.
- Balance flight control surfaces.
- Develop standard flight load planning and assist in airplane loading of variable load elements.
- Inspect aircraft to calculate effects of actual weight and location of variable load elements on gross weight and center of gravity, and prepare flight manifests for pilot signatures and flight release.
- Weigh and determine centers of gravity of components and assemblies.
- Resolve routine problems with equipment, components, and weighing systems.
- Work under general supervision.
- 3+ years of experience with technical analysis.
- 1+ year of experience in aircraft weighing or similar aircraft operations support activities.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite.
- Travel may be required up to 25% of the time.
- 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certified to weigh U.S. DoD aircraft by DoD branch or commercial equivalent training.
- Certified to use Automated Weight and Balance System (AWBS) software.
- Associate’s degree or higher.

Security ClearanceThis position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, with a U.S. Government requirement for U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post‑Start is required.

Pay RangeSummary pay range: $64,600 – 87,400.
