, overseeing operations across three Texas offices as the company continues its strategic expansion.
The Senior Geotechnical Engineer will play a pivotal role in building and strengthening the Texas geotechnical practice. Backed by a well‑established organization with decades of industry success, this role offers the chance to significantly influence the direction, culture, and growth of the Texas region. It is ideally suited for an engineer who is not only technically strong but also driven to take on increasing leadership and management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage geotechnical investigations, analyses, and engineering design for a diverse range of commercial, industrial, municipal, and infrastructure projects.
- Prepare high-quality geotechnical reports, recommendations, and technical documentation.
- Provide technical oversight, mentorship, and support to junior engineers and field personnel.
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, proposals, and client communication to ensure successful project delivery.
- Support business development initiatives and help strengthen existing and new client relationships in the region.
- Contribute to developing and expanding the Texas geotechnical team as the office scales.
- Progress toward department leadership responsibilities, with a long‑term pathway to regional management across multiple Texas offices.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline (Master's degree preferred).
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required (Texas PE preferred or ability to obtain via reciprocity).
- 6‑12+ years of geotechnical engineering experience, including project management exposure.
- Strong background in soil mechanics, foundation design, slope stability, and geotechnical instrumentation.
- Excellent communication skills with demonstrated leadership potential and client-facing ability.
- Ambition to grow into department and regional leadership roles as the Texas operations expand.
