Typical day for you might include:- Experience providing high‑quality programming per specifications, standards, budgets, and schedules.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely with customers, contractors, engineers, and fellow team members.
- Working as part of a team that is responsible for the programming, start‑up, troubleshooting, and commissioning of DDC building automation systems.
- Configuring, programming, and customizing control systems to meet project‑specific needs.
- Creation of software programs and front‑end graphics.
- Commissioning on projects.
- Analyzing problems and resolving issues to ensure the complete system functions properly.
- Performing system diagnostics and recommending enhancements to improve system performance and efficiency.
- Coordinating customer training and completing closeout documents.
- Providing technical support and direction to end‑users and employees when applicable.
- Possessing a degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar program.
- Programming skills are essential.
- Understanding of electrical principles.
- Knowledge of control systems/HVAC systems is a plus (but not required).
- Additional preferred skills to be discussed during the interview, tailored to specific business units.
