Aircraft Structures Mechanic - Depot level r located in San Antonio, TX.
This position is located in San Antonio, TX.
Weekly pay up to $45/hour
Per diem for out of location contractors
No tools required
Open to 1st or 2nd shift needs
Open to any airframe experience
Join our team as an Aircraft Structural Mechanic, where you will have the opportunity to work on the F/A-18E, F/A-18F, and F-18 Super Hornet fighter jets. Your role will involve aircraft modifications, focusing on structural and sheet-metal alterations.
ResponsibilitiesPerform depot-level and heavy checks on aircraft, including equipment overhauls and modifications.
Implement sheet-metal modifications and structural repairs on military aircraft such as the F/A-18E, F/A-18F, and Super Hornet.
Address corrosion issues and apply high-lock solutions to maintain aircraft integrity.
Minimum of 3 to 7 years of recent experience in depot-level or heavy checks on any aircraft.
Proficiency in structural and sheet-metal modifications.
Experience with military aircraft, preferably F/A-18 models.
Skills & Qualifications
Experience working with the Air Force, Navy, or Marines.
Familiarity with Boeing aircraft and modifications.
1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 5:30 AM–2:30 PM (overtime optional).
2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM (overtime optional).
The role offers flexible shift options with 1st Shift from 5:30am-2:30pm and 2nd Shift from 2pm-10:30pm.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
