Overview
National Imaging Solutions is looking for an Experienced Diagnostic Imaging Field Service Engineer for Texas. 5+ years of multi-modality experience is required. The candidate must either live in or be willing to relocate to San Antonio, Texas. CT or X-Ray installation / de-installation experience is strongly desired. OEM training is a large plus; GE CT Scanner experience strongly preferred with some need for Siemens CT experience.
CT, X-Ray, Ultrasound, Ct Injector MRI, and other biomed FSE experience are also highly desired. The company has customers across Texas and in nearby states. Some travel within the territory is expected. Must be willing to spend some time on-call and be available 24/7.
- Basic troubleshooting, installation, maintenance and service repair on designated equipment
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on imaging equipment to include, but not limited to:
Diagnostic ultrasound, nuclear medicine, C-Arm, Mobile X-Ray, R&F, CT and/or Mammography equipment - Utilize the current electronic service report system to maintain records of work performed
- Interact with vendors to provide specialized service or order parts necessary to maintain equipment
- Provide follow-up communications to customers on the status of repairs and/or to provide training to end users as necessary
- Participate in radiology equipment set-up and installation as necessary
- Participate with regular “On-Call” schedule
- Work as a member of the local team to provide efficient service delivery to all accounts within the assigned area
- Must be able to interact professionally when in customer facilities and when speaking with customers, even in high pressure situations
- Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as part of a solution-based service process
- Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment
- Experience troubleshooting and responding to customer concerns
- Excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical issues in an easy-to-understand manner
- Knowledge of practices and procedures, methods, tools and materials used in the use, repair, and maintenance of radiographic/imaging equipment
- Good communication and computer skills. Networking skills are desirable
- Demonstrate competency related to the use of test equipment used in maintenance and troubleshooting of radiographic/imaging equipment
- Demonstrate competency related to the use of service and repair manuals including understanding of operating instructions, service diagrams, flow charts and schematics
