Job Title: Tooling Engineer

Employment Type: Contract – 4 months

The Tooling Engineer will be responsible for managing the sourcing, deployment, and validation of new or upgraded tooling required to meet manufacturing throughput targets. This role involves close collaboration with engineering, design, manufacturing teams, and external vendors to ensure tooling solutions are implemented effectively and meet performance expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify tooling requirements to support throughput expansion and manufacturing improvement projects
• Coordinate sourcing and procurement of new or upgraded tooling solutions
• Manage tooling installation activities and ensure compliance with design and manufacturing specifications
• Collaborate with design engineers and onsite teams to validate tooling performance and functionality
• Support troubleshooting and continuous improvement of tooling systems
• Ensure tooling projects are delivered on time and aligned with production needs

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in tooling design, sourcing, and implementation within automotive or heavy‑vehicle manufacturing environments
• Strong understanding of tooling systems, manufacturing processes, and production support
• Proven experience coordinating with vendors and external suppliers
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and project coordination skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting容高-volume manufacturing operations
• Familiarity with continuous improvement initiatives related to tooling and production efficiency

Work Schedule:

• Onsite required:
  Monday–Thursday, 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Meetings may extend between 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM
• Occasional Friday or Saturday work may be requiredгоҳ for major installations or cutover activities
