INDUSTRAL ENGINEERING SUPPORT

Background:
The resource selected should provide experienced, degreed industrial engineers for mid-term facility support.

Requirements:
Contractor must provide a minimum of 15 mid-term support Industrial Engineers for the International Facility in San Antonio, Texas. Contractors are expected to work on site 4 days/week, standard workdays 5:30am to 4:00pm. On occasion Industrial Engineers may need to work Fridays and Saturdays to support major project initiatives. Engineers must have a 4-year engineering degree, be most certified and have documented experience using MOST to determine labor requirements, have a minimum of 2 years experience in an industrial setting, and be on site no later than 1/26/2026.

  • Process optimization: streamline assembly lines, improve workflow, and eliminate bottlenecks to reduce cycle times and waste.
  • Supply chain management: coordinate with suppliers and distributors to ensure timely delivery of parts and efficiently manage inventory.
  • Quality control: implement statistical methods and systems like Six Sigma to ensure vehicles and components meet quality standards consistently.
  • Manufacturing and facility planning: design plant layouts, plan process sequences, and set up new facilities or machinery.
  • Workforce and ergonomics: design workstations and processes to improve worker productivity and safety.
  • Project management: lead continuous improvement projects and development of new products or services.

  • Improve logistics: work on material handling, equipment, and method planning to ensure smooth flow of materials.

  • Implement quality systems: develop and implement systems to ensure final products are high-quality and meet all specifications.
