Position: Engineering Technician with Security Clearance

HX5 is currently seeking an Engineering Technician to support the HNC Division at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, TX.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Conduct research and analyze engineering data to support projects
* Develop, design, and test engineering structures, systems, and materials
* Perform inspections and evaluations to ensure quality and compliance
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems efficiently
* Support standardization and production processes
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize engineering solutions
* Apply engineering principles across multiple disciplines to support project needs
* Analyze and solve technical challenges efficiently using problem-solving techniques
* Plan, schedule, and oversee engineering activities to ensure timely execution
* Operate and manage engineering equipment, devices, and materials effectively
* Standardize, test, and evaluate engineering solutions for accuracy and reliability
* Lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve system issues and optimize performance
* Communicate findings, solutions, and updates clearly to stakeholders and teams
* Maintain high standards of quality control through inspections and assessments
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance engineering processes

Education and Experience:

Must have the following education and experience:
* Bachelor's or master's degree in a related field and at least three years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, three of which must be in the DoD
* OR, seven years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, five of which must be in the DoD. Other

Position Requirements :
* Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
* Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
* Must be able to obtain a Top-Secret clearance by date of hire
