Industrial Engineer
The manager needs candidates who have worked in a MANUFACTURING environment.
Location:
Onsite - San Antonio
Hours:
Monday-Friday 7am-4pm. OT might be required mainly on Fridays but could be some Saturdays as well as required per the projects.

We are looking for at least 3 years of experience and preferably, but not required in Automotive/Truck industry.
Engineering degree is a must and Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing would be strongly preferred.
The plan is a 6-month contract with a potential extension based on the project requirements.
Must Haves- AUTOCAD experience (2D and 3D layouts)
- Manufacturing experience (Line balance, PFMEA, process mapping, Standard work, etc.)
- Mfg. Tooling and equipment installation experience
- Engineering degree
- Support engineering projects by developing technical drawings that translate engineering and architectural designs into detailed plans used in building products and structures.
- Collaborate with engineers and other professionals to clarify design specifications, update layouts using AUTOCAD software, place and follow up purchase orders for new tooling and equipment.
- Produce drawings and check design drawings to verify they are accurate and meet industry standards.
- Extensive working knowledge of AUTOCAD software, 2D and 3D, to prepare technical drawings efficiently.
- Ability to analyze design sketches and specifications to create technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure drawings are accurate according to specifications.
- Communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with architects, engineers and other professionals.
- Time management skills to work with multiple projects and competing deadlines.
- Knowledge of engineering practices and industry standards.
- Advanced mathematical skills.
- Ability to perform physical measurements to create layouts as required.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary project reviews between departments and other stakeholders.
- Create and follow up problem follow-up sheets to monitor and guide completion of activities.
- Experience with manufacturing tools and equipment to support prototype pilot build constructions.
- Availability to work OT and/or weekends as required per project deliverables.
- Knowledge of MS Office to perform analysis and prepare executive presentations.
- Previous manufacturing Automotive/Truck industry experience is a plus.
- Bilingual English / Spanish is a plus.
