Position Overview We are hiring an Industrial Engineer – PMT to support labor standards development and operational excellence for a leading Automotive OEM. This role focuses on applying Pre-Determined Motion Time Systems (PMTS)—including MOST, MODAPTS, and MTM—to drive productivity improvements, establish engineered labor standards, and support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and operations.

Key Responsibilities Develop, document, and maintain engineered labor standards using MOST, MODAPTS, and/or MTM Conduct time studies and motion studies to identify efficiency and productivity improvements Perform process mapping and workflow analysis to optimize operations Analyze performance data and present actionable improvement recommendations Support operational planning, capacity analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience) 1–2 years of experience in industrial engineering, work measurement, or labor standards Hands-on experience with MOST, MODAPTS, and/or MTM methodologies Strong experience conducting time studies and developing engineered standards Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Power BI, SQL, Minitab, or similar tools preferred) Strong written and verbal communication skills Spanish language skills are a plus

Preferred Qualifications Formal certification or training in MOST, MODAPTS, or MTM Experience in automotive, manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, fulfillment, or distribution environments Lean / Six Sigma certification (Green Belt preferred)
