We are seeking a highly motivated engine Calibration Engineer with desire to work both in our extensive dynamometer lab and with our customers. We offer an environment that is always interesting & challenging.

Responsibilities
  • Understand and apply engine operating fundamentals, engine management strategies, and calibration techniques
  • Complete solid engine and application calibrations in a timely manner, meeting the customer performance targets
  • Test new and existing engine products, as required, validating suitability for use in customer applications
  • Provide technical support to our customers on all aspects of their application as it relates to our products and calibration
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
Requirements
  • BS in Mechanical/Electrical/Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
  • Previous exposure to engine calibration/testing/development.
  • Working knowledge of PC-based presentation, spreadsheet, & word processing software.
  • Basic understanding in following engineering disciplines; electrical, software, & mechanical.
  • Basic understanding of equations governing hydraulics/pneumatics, rotational/linear mechanical dynamics, thermodynamics, electrical circuits, and compressible flow.
  • Basic understanding of engine control systems, sensors, laboratory test equipment, and calibration techniques.
