We are a national staffing firm currently seeking an Aircraft Electronics Technician for a prominent client. The position is located in San Antonio, TX
.

• Compensation: $40.17/hr (including $4.93H&W)
• This is an onsite position with all shifts available.
• 12+ month contract with potential for extension or conversion based on performance and budget.

• Apply technical knowledge to solve complex problems beyond manufacturer manuals.
• Perform circuit analysis, waveform calculations, and signal flow tracing using advanced test instruments.
• Conduct aircraft bench and flight line testing and troubleshooting per directives.
• Assemble, install, check, and modify wire bundles for aircraft testing and development.
• Ensure proper handling of tools and equipment, and consult with management to optimize work processes.
• Assist and train junior staff; potentially lead teams on complex tasks.
• Prioritize workload to meet schedules; interpret technical instructions and diagrams.
• Maintain safety standards; diagnose and fix malfunctions; use precision instruments.
• Maintain necessary certifications and permits.
• Physical requirements include ascending/descending ladders, working in confined spaces, and lifting loads up to 35 pounds.
• Work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, with possible overtime.
• Follow Hazardous Energy and Lock Out/Tag procedures for safety.
• Collaborate with team members to meet cost and schedule targets.

• Experience with C-17 or similar heavy aircraft platforms.
• Knowledge of Aircraft Avionics Systems such as Communication, Navigation, Data Links, Weapons, Radar.
• At least 3 years in applied mathematics, statistics, or related fields.
• At least 4 years working with schematics, specifications, and assembly drawings.
• 3+ years experience with aircraft computer systems and standard office software.

• Experience with C-17 modifications.
• Work with COMSEC, Radar, or Electronic Systems.
• Ability to operate forklifts, mobile cranes, and electric elevating equipment.
