Main responsibilities are performing preventative maintenance and repair on semiconductor equipment. Interfaces with Equipment Engineer and area Manager/Group Leader to identify and resolve equipment and process‑related issues supporting production. Participate in the activities of the area shift pass‑downs, and work on set priorities based on production requirements.
This Job Is For You- You can perform Preventative Maintenance tasks, and rebuilding assemblies. Knowledge of hardware for chemical delivery, chemical processing and handling for semiconductor is essential
- You can assist in analyzing and resolving recurring maintenance problems. Perform technical servicing of semiconductor production and support equipment
- You can participate in activities to develop, document, and improve existing semiconductor equipment maintenance procedures and systems; working from procedures, blueprints, sketches, drawings, and diagrams
- You can interface with Senior Technicians and Engineers to support resolution of equipment specific issues
- You can perform diagnostic troubleshooting and repair on malfunctioning equipment
- You can recommend equipment improvement and interface with engineering as required
- You can perform routine maintenance on Wet Etch systemsli>
- You have the ability to re‑build assemblies in the wet Etch areas of the fab including subassemblies on Akrion gamma, FSI Mercury, SEZ 203 and Bulk chemical Delivery Systems
- You can participate in ERT/Safety events
- Associate of Science degree with an emphasis in Electronics or equivalent or Military experience with specific emphasis on electronics training
- Minimum of three to five years of technical experience in a high‑tech manufacturing environment
- Must have demonstrated working knowledge of electro‑mechanical systems operations and maintenance and be able to work with minimal assistance
- Adequate knowledge is required of electronic theory, vacuum and pneumatics, principles of electrical circuits, motor control systems and test procedures
- Strong preference is given for semiconductor experience working on Akrion Gamma wet benches, FSI Mercury and SEZ spin systems
- Knowledge of BCDS systems is desirable
