Electrical Designer

Our progressive Engineering Team at our office in San Antonio, TX seeks a talented Electrical Designer
. We want someone with a desire to exceed expectations and a commitment to ensuring the built environment matches the design intent. We need someone who can collaborate with educational or healthcare project teams to help our clients achieve their goals.

• Work in a team environment
• Collaborate with our firm’s integrated engineers, architects, and interior designers across all offices
• Perform site surveys and coordinate with the electric utility for assessment of renovation or new construction needs
• Design building electrical systems including power distribution and lighting design, along with familiarity of fire alarm and low voltage systems
• Coordinate construction documents for small to medium‑sized projects
• Review CA related items and perform site observations during construction
• Understand codes, standards, and guidelines related to the practice of building design
• Be familiar with software for performing electrical loads, short‑circuit analysis, and lighting calculations

• Associate’s degree in electrical engineering, architectural engineering, or equivalent;
  Bachelor’s preferred
• EIT preferred
• 3+ years of experience
