Student Ministry Intern Summer

This is a paid, full-time position. A housing option may be possible.

With supervision and support from the Director of Student Ministry, the Student Ministry Intern will:

• Lead programming for summer activities
• Help plan and implement weekly student programs (Five:32, Sunday School, etc.)
• Carry out administrative & outreach tasks (e-mails, phone calls, etc.)
• Challenge students to higher levels of discipleship

The Student Ministry Intern will be someone who:

• Has been out of high school for at least two years
• Seeks a committed relationship with Jesus Christ and is committed to setting that example
• Has a passion for working with teenagers and is available to their needs
• Is self-motivated
• Has good leadership, communication and organizational skills

The Student Ministry Intern will:

• Be held accountable to their duties by the Director of Student Ministry
• Work from Monday, May 17th thru Sunday, August 9th (including some evenings, weekends, and overnight trips)
• Assist with Student Sunday School at 9:30am on Sundays
• Attend 11:00am worship each Sunday
• Submit to a criminal background check
• Complete required safety training
