SPED Coordinator – $50/hr – San Antonio, TX – 20-Week Assignment Position Overview
The SPED Coordinator serves in a full-time, on-site leadership role overseeing all aspects of Special Education and Section 504 compliance at the campus. This position supports students, families, educators, and administrators by coordinating services, managing documentation, leading ARD/IEP processes, training staff, addressing parent concerns, and ensuring the school meets all state and federal requirements. Ongoing support and cross-training will be provided upon start.

Full responsibility for SPED & 504 compliance
Lead ARD/IEP meetings, ensure accurate documentation, and support case management
Work directly with parents, addressing concerns and providing updates
Mentor, coach, and provide professional development for campus staff
Collaborate with Special Education professionals and administrators
Campus caseload currently around 60 students and expected to grow
Frontline/eSPED experience strongly preferred
Virtual interview required
Oversee all campus Special Education and 504 processes
Facilitate ARD committee meetings and ensure legal compliance
Provide staff training, mentorship, and ongoing support
Communicate regularly with families and address concerns professionally
Coordinate with SPED teams on programming, instruction, and interventions
Ensure timelines, documentation, and student files meet state standards
Support the campus with leadership, problem-solving, and guidance
Valid Special Education certification (state-appropriate)
SPED leadership experience strongly preferred
Experience with Frontline/eSPED systems preferred
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years old
