Responsibilities- Opportunity to shape the next generation of sonography professionals through impactful teaching and mentorship

- Participation in program advisory committees to ensure curriculum relevance and alignment with industry needs
- Deliver competency-based education that adheres to CHCP's curriculum model and instructional delivery standards
- Develop and execute instructional plans that align with course competencies and support lesson objectives
- Facilitate student achievement of exit competencies through effective teaching and evaluation methods
- Establish a classroom environment conducive to active learning and student engagement
- Provide timely and comprehensive feedback to students, including mid‑term evaluations and improvement opportunities for struggling students
- Demonstrate flexibility in teaching style and schedule to promote student success and engagement
- Maintain accurate records, including attendance, grades, and compliance with academic policies
- Participate in faculty, departmental, and school‑wide meetings to contribute to the institution's goals
- Engage in campus service by participating in special project committees annually
- Incorporate professional and industry experience into teaching to enhance learning outcomes
- Attend Program Advisory Committee meetings to provide insights on curriculum and course delivery
- Stay updated on industry trends and integrate them into instructional practices
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the academic mission of CHCP
- Minimum of an Associate’s Degree
- Current RDMS certification in ABD and OB/GYN specialties (required)
- Relevant credentials specific to the concentrations offered in the program
- Proficiency in teaching methodology, supervision, instruction, evaluation, and guidance
- At least three years of full-time professional experience as a general sonographer, cardiac sonographer, pediatric cardiac sonographer, or vascular technologist (defined as 35 hours per week)
