Position SummaryThe Department of Educational Leadership & Policy Studies in the College of Education and Human Development at The University of Texas at San Antonio invites applications for a Lecturer position to begin in Summer 2026. The primary responsibility of this role is teaching graduate-level courses within the department's core curriculum. The successful candidate will contribute to the department's mission of preparing transformational leaders by delivering instruction in areas related to K-12 Educational Leadership and/or Higher Education Administration.
The expected teaching load for this position is a minimum of one course per semester.
Required Qualifications
- An earned doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership, Higher Education Administration, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
- Demonstrated effectiveness in teaching graduate-level courses, as evidenced by teaching evaluations, syllabi samples, or other relevant documentation.
- A record of successful teaching experience in higher education, online and/or in-person settings.
- A clear ability and commitment to contribute to the department's mission of preparing transformational leaders who can work effectively in multifaceted and challenging educational contexts.
