Position Title:
Program Intern
Position Summary:
The Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, a hub for entrepreneurial education and activities for students from all majors, is seeking a motivated and creative university student to join our team as a Program Intern. This role provides an exciting opportunity to be involved with a variety of tasks and projects within the Center. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic about entrepreneurship and about contributing to the Center's mission.
Key Responsibilities:
Trinity Incubator:
Participate as an assistant in the summer Incubator program, a 10-week course that guides student entrepreneurs through many aspects of creating a startup. Your duties will include tracking attendance and following up on absences, assisting students in awareness of upcoming activities and deadlines, assisting instructors with organization, keeping the classroom supplies & refreshments adequately stocked, and coordinating logistics for external events and field trips.
Administrative Duties:
Be familiar with Google Calendar, provide daily updates to the supervisor, and manage multiple tasks efficiently using Asana and Google Suite. Event Support:
Help coordinate and execute Center events by managing registration, set-up, and breakdown. Provide support for programs such as the Trinity Incubator, Stumberg Venture Competition, and Center workshops, including logistics, event preparation, document organization, and promotional activities.
Design and Marketing Assistance:
Assist with marketing needs of the Center, including the creation and placement of promotional flyers and posters around campus. Other designs may include banners, cards, business cards, invitations, etc. Proficiency in Canva is strongly desired. Research Initiatives:
You may be asked to complete research and research analysis, ensuring thorough and accurate data collection.
Confidentiality:
Maintain confidentiality regarding all sensitive matters discussed or observed within the Center including but not limited to FERPA protections.
Expectations:
Work Schedule:
Commit to working hours based on the minimums set by Students + Startups, including occasional evenings.
Initiative and Communication:
Take initiative to complete tasks, provide regular updates to the supervisor, and seek guidance when necessary.
Professionalism:
Engage respectfully with staff, visitors, peers, and university community members. Demonstrate a commitment to improving processes and contributing positively to the Center's goals.

Compensation:
Students receive a $6,000 stipend for the summer
