Description/Notes: The Substitute Counselor supports campus counseling functions during the temporary absence or vacancy of the assigned Counselor. This role assists students, parents, and campus staff with graduation‑related processes, scheduling support, and student guidance activities in a manner that promotes student success and continuity of services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (required)
- Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and staff in a professional and courteous manner
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of student records and sensitive information
- Experience working in an educational setting or with at‑risk populations preferred, but not required
