The Department of Computational, Engineering, and Mathematical Sciences is seeking a part-time adjunct instructor(s) for teaching calculus and non-calculus based introductory physics lecture and laboratory for Fall 2025 in person (no online teaching option available).

• Teach calculus and non-calculus based introductory physics lectures and laboratories for Fall 2025, in person.

• An earned Master s degree in Physics or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution.
• 18 graduate hours in Physics or a closely related field.
• Physics Lecture and Laboratory teaching experience. Experience as a graduate teaching assistant acceptable.

• Working towards or has earned Ph.D. in Physics, or related field from a regionally accredited institution.
• Experience and interest in teaching undergraduates in a college/university setting.
• Broad training in physics.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Interest in active and collaborative learning, the instructional use of technology.
• Experience with non-traditional commuter university settings.
• Ability to work cooperatively with faculty and staff.
• Ability to respond promptly to queries from students, faculty, and staff.
