Part Time After School Youth -Alamo Heights

Right At School provides local school districts before and after school extended day programs with a focus on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment dedicated to the success of all students!

• Start date:
  
  Immediate
• Pay: $13.00‑$15.00 per hour (based on experience)
• Schedule:
  
  Monday–Friday, 3:00 p.m.–6:30 p.m.; no weekends
• Full day on student holidays and school closure days

• Ability to meet state‑specific requirements
• First Aid and CPR (in‑person); ability to obtain within 30 days of employment if required
• 18 + years of age
• Proof of High School diploma or GED (required)
• Clear tuberculosis test (if required)
• Proof of MMR (if required)
• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years (not required but preferred)
• Ability to lift 25–40 lbs (as needed)

• Participate in daily program meetings to review goals, share ideas, and ensure accountability
• Prepare, organize, and facilitate daily activities and curriculum that are both educational and enjoyable
• Model positive guidance, effective classroom management, and a safe, nurturing environment
• Prioritize safety: monitor the environment, address hazards, follow protocols, document attendance and incidents
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel

• Outstanding customer service and relationship‑building skills
• Strong teamwork abilities
• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years
• Drive to inspire a love of learning and commitment to healthy living
• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed
• Excellent communication skills with varied audiences
