The College of Business at Texas A&M University‑San Antonio seeks applications for a Visiting Professor or Lecturer of Accounting to begin in January 2026 – a fall 2026 start date may also be considered. The initial appointment is for a period of one year, subject to renewal based on performance and funding. The candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate accounting courses, mentor students, and support departmental service and program development.

• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in accounting.
• Advise and mentor students.
• Support curriculum development and accreditation activities.
• Engage in service to the department, college, and university.

• Master’s degree in Accounting, or J.D. with CPA certification.
• Evidence of effective university‑level teaching.
• Commitment to student success and comprehensive teaching practices.

• Doctorate in Accounting or closely related field (completed or ABD).
• Professional certification (CPA, CMA, CIA, or equivalent).
• Experience teaching first‑generation student populations.
