What We Offer Compensation- Starting salary for 0 years of experience: $59,500. Additional stipends based on certifications, credentials, and campus leadership range from $500 to $4,000 each. Performance‑based bonuses also available.
- Additional hourly compensation for after‑school tutoring or Saturday school as assigned.
- Comprehensive benefits plan with majority medical premium covered, subsidized spouse/partner and children costs.
- Paid Family Leave: up to 8 weeks for birth or adoption.
- Tuition Reimbursement: up to 50% of tuition toward a qualifying degree, maximum $5,250 per year.
- Employer‑Paid Mental/Behavioral Health: 5 face‑to‑face counseling sessions, unlimited 24/7 telephonic counseling, other work‑life services at no cost.

- High level of content‑area proficiency as evidenced by teaching certification, field of study, or work‑experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution (required).
- Experience in a K‑12 classroom setting (strongly preferred).
- State certification preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of core academic subject and ability to pass an IDEA content assessment.
- Knowledge of curriculum and instruction.
- Ability to instruct and manage student behavior.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptability in a dynamic school environment.
- Implement state learning standards and IDEA curricula and assessments to meet ambitious academic expectations.
- Learn, master, and deliver relevant content and grade‑level curriculum, core objectives, and texts.
- Submit weekly lesson plans two weeks in advance for feedback.
- Use formal and informal assessments to track each student’s progress and adjust lesson plans accordingly; update the gradebook weekly.
- Communicate students’ progress with families weekly.
- Use technology effectively for communication, instructional purposes, and task management.
- Implement a clear and consistent behavior management system aligned to campus‑wide initiatives; develop students’ character and sense of community.
- Help shape a school‑wide culture that fosters a productive, enthusiastic learning environment.
- Maintain a cooperative, trust‑based relationship with students and families.
- Host necessary tutoring sessions to meet all students’ needs.
- Participate in weekly manager check‑ins, grade‑level meetings, before‑and‑after‑school duties, and school‑wide meetings and functions.
- Engage in summer and year‑long professional development.
- Spend a minimum of 40+ hours at school per week.
- Additional responsibilities may include after‑school tutoring or Saturday school as needed.
