Program Coordinator - Student Support and Engagement

Under general supervision, responsible for launching and managing a campus food pantry program. Reports to and assists Program Manager with Office of Student Life programs, projects, and initiatives. Supports all co‑curricular activities offered by the Office of Student Life. This position offers a hybrid work schedule of 80% on campus and 20% remote.
Responsibilities- Launch and manage the daily operations of a campus-wide food pantry.
- Collaborate with the San Antonio Food Bank, create and distribute food kits, recruit and manage volunteer workforce, maintain health and safety of the pantry space and food offerings, collaborate with UT San Antonio campus partners and pantry staff, collect and analyze food pantry usage data and feedback for continuous improvement, report findings to university leadership, and perform additional duties.
- Report to and assist Program Manager with Office of Student Life programs, projects, and initiatives.
- Create, manage, and assist with co‑curricular activities for students at the main campus and external locations (Greehey Campus, Center for Oral Health & Research, Wonderland Mall, and Laredo Campus).
- Assist with maintaining Office of Student Life website content and departmental social media content and engagement.
- Work as a team member with other Student Life staff and serve on university committees as appropriate.
- Represent the university through professional organizations and events as appropriate.
- Provide high‑level administrative support to the Office of Student Life.
- Collaborate and serve as a liaison to other university offices for programming efforts.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Ability to effectively multitask and manage responsibilities simultaneously.
- Ability to launch and manage daily operations of a food pantry program.
- Ability to create, manage, and promote campus-wide co‑curricular activities and programs.
- High proficiency in social media campaigns and engagement.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to serve as a resource to faculty, staff and students.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, interdisciplinary environment and capable of self‑direction with indirect supervision.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field is required.
- Master’s Degree in Education or related field is preferred.
- Three (3) years related experience is required.
