Overview
We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospitalist physician to join a high-quality, hospital-based obstetrics program in San Antonio, TX. This role is designed for physicians who thrive in an acute-care environment and value a model that dramatically improves patient safety and satisfaction by ensuring immediate, in-house OB/GYN expertise for all obstetric emergencies.
This position offers an exceptional work/life balance, with no office responsibilities, no on-call duty, and a predictable hospitalist schedule.
Position Highlights- Hospitalist-only role with no clinic and no office management
- Typically (7–9) 24-hour shifts per month
- No on-call responsibilities outside scheduled shifts
- Immediate availability to manage any obstetric emergency
- Strong multidisciplinary labor and delivery support team
- Physician-focused model centered on safety, quality, and efficiency
- Annual compensation: $300,000–$340,000
