Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist San Antonio, TX
Looking for an experienced OB Hospitalist to provide top-tier medical care on weekends in a dynamic healthcare environment. This essential role offers the opportunity to contribute to patient outcomes while enjoying a flexible weekend schedule. Required Skills:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Valid and unrestricted medical license in Texas
- Proven experience in obstetric hospitalist services or labor and delivery
- Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism
Skills:
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Prior work in a hospitalist or acute care setting
- Bilingual abilities, especially Spanish
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of obstetric hospitalist experience
- Recent participation in continuing medical education (CME) related to obstetrics
- Availability to work 24-hour shifts on weekends
- Willingness to travel if necessary for credentialing or certification updates
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
- Ability to obtain Texas medical licensure and hospital privileges
Hourly Pay Rate: $195.00
