Description

Overview:

CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Health System has been a cornerstone of compassionate, faith-based care in South Texas since 1869. As the only Catholic, nonprofit health system in San Antonio, CHRISTUS Santa Rosa includes six full-service hospitals and numerous specialty centers, with more than 1,100 licensed beds. CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital - Westover Hills, located in one of the fastest-growing areas of San Antonio, is undergoing a major $300 million expansion.

This includes a new patient tower with state-of-the-art cardiovascular operating rooms, a hybrid OR suite, and a dedicated CVICU, solidifying Westover Hills as the region's newest hub for advanced cardiac and surgical care.

CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic (CTC), the employed medical group for CHRISTUS Health, is one of the largest multispecialty groups in South Texas, with more than 1,000 physicians and advanced practice providers across over 130 locations. CTC supports a robust cardiac care team in San Antonio, which currently includes 4 interventional cardiologists, 1 general cardiologist, 1 electrophysiologist, and a dedicated support staff.

We are now recruiting the first Cardiovascular Surgeon to join CTC in San Antonio, marking the launch of our new surgical service line.
