SummaryServing as a focal point for pediatric services throughout the community, CHRISTUS Children’s Hospital in San Antonio is a world‑class children’s hospital affiliated with Baylor College of Medicine. The Division of Hospital Medicine of the Department of Pediatrics at Baylor has an opening for a full‑time faculty position as a Pediatric Hospitalist or a Nocturnist. This position includes a faculty appointment within the Department of Pediatrics, a competitive salary, full benefits, and the rank will be determined by credentials and experience.
Physicians must be committed to education, collaboration, and excellence in patient care.
• Provision of hospital care to pediatric inpatients, including overnight coverage.
• Consultations and co‑management of sub‑specialty, surgical, and psychiatric pediatric patients.
• Pediatric sedation; teaching fellows, residents, medical students, and staff.
• Active involvement in inpatient quality, safety, and administrative activities.
• Protected time for academic/scholarly activities in clinical informatics, outcomes research, child advocacy, education, or quality improvement.
Minimum Qualifications- MD/DO degree.
- Licensed by the Texas Medical Board (or eligible for same).
- BE/BC in Pediatric Hospital Medicine.
