Bradshaw Design invites prospective candidates to apply for an enriching internship within our award-winning firm. This opportunity endeavors to offer a comprehensive immersion into the intricate workings of a genuine design environment. Selected individuals will gain invaluable insights into vendor-client interactions, logistical intricacies, and the holistic project progression. This is a unique opportunity to transition your theoretical understanding to actionable, real-world expertise.

CORE

RESPONSIBILITIES Administrative Assistance:
  • Oversee the receipt of packages and materials relevant to ongoing projects
  • Uphold the organization and condition of the office environment
  • Conduct occasional assignments for designers, including hardware collection and delivery of materials to respective sites
  • Ensure the systematic organization of the material library
  • Process and confirm the pricing of incoming material samples
  • Coordinate and confirm appointments, facilitating the preparation for client consultations
Design Team Support:
  • Track and provide timely updates on tasks and project milestones
  • Facilitate vendor interactions, encompassing phone and in-person dialogues with sales affiliates or showrooms, price research, specification documentation, stock verifications, and more
  • Contribute to furniture procurement processes
  • Aid in material selection for distinctive design ventures
  • Participate in the formulation of client-specific specification booklets
  • Under guided supervision, engage in Studio Designer for product creation, proposal drafting, and order placements
  • Amend drawings as indicated by designers in Revit or AutoCAD
  • Collaboratively and under mentorship, contribute to preliminary spatial planning
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Competency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Suite is essential
  • Exhibit a consistent professional demeanor
  • Display motivation, self-reliance, and goal-driven ethos
  • Possess outstanding interpersonal skills, coupled with excellent written and oral communication abilities
  • Adaptability with an inclination to receive constructive criticism
  • Proactively approach challenges with solutions rather than problems
  • Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, especially in measurements
