Job SummaryWe are searching for a SUPER STAR Dental Assistant. The role involves providing a range of clinical and operational support in a full dental practice setting, assisting with dental and radiological procedures, and maintaining infection control and workplace safety.
Duties and Responsibilities- Assist the dentist using four‑handed dentistry: instrument transfer, isolation, oral evacuation, retraction, and preparation of instruments and materials.
- Maintain autoclaves, ultrasonic cleaners, and other equipment; keep accurate logs per maintenance protocols.
- Ensure infection control logs are completed and review lab case logs as needed.
- Prepare, sterilize, organize, and set up the operatory and instruments according to OSHA guidelines.
- Review patient vital signs and medical history, document results, and provide oral hygiene, nutritional counseling, and post‑operative instructions.
- Assist in inventory management and follow protocol for ordering supplies.
- Travel independently to other locations as required.

- High school diploma or GED, graduate of an accredited Dental Assisting Program
- Certification in radiology, infection control, jurisprudence, and CPR
- One year of dental assisting experience preferred
- Bilingual Spanish; four‑handed dentistry skills; nitrous oxide exam certification preferred
- Professional license and certifications maintained to ensure compliance with the Federal Torts Claims Act
- Finger dexterity for small movements (typing, picking up items)
- Repetitive wrist, hand, and finger motions
- Standing, walking most of the time; may lift up to 25 pounds, can lift 20 pounds unassisted
- Must be able to perform essential functions, meet attendance requirements, and deliver excellent customer service
