We are searching for our next SUPER STAR
! As a Dental Assistant you will perform clinical procedures and support dental operations, assisting the dentist with a full range of dental and radiological procedures.

• Assist the dentist using four‑handed dentistry; transfer instruments, isolate, evacuate oral fluids, retract, and prepare instruments and materials, including mixing filling and impression materials.
• Chart examinations and treatment results on patient dental records.
• Maintain autoclave, ultrasonic scalers and other equipment; keep appropriate logs.
• Ensure monitoring logs for all infection control items are correctly completed and review lab case logs.
• Prepare, sterilize, organize and set up dental operatory and instruments per OSHA guidelines.
• At initial seating, review vital signs, medical history, and document findings; instruct patients on oral hygiene, nutrition and post‑operative care.
• Assist in maintaining adequate inventory and follow ordering protocols.
• Travel independently to other locations as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED plus graduate from an accredited Dental Assisting Program.
• Certification in radiology, infection control and jurisprudence; CPR certified.
• One year of dental assisting experience preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish, four‑handed assistance skills, nitrous oxide exam certification preferred.
• Maintain professional standards and licensing required for credentialing under Federal Torts Claims Act.

• Finger dexterity for small movements.
• Repetitive motions of wrists, hands and fingers.
• Standing/walking most of the time; lifting up to 25 pounds; lifting up to 20 pounds unassisted.
• Deliver excellent customer service externally and internally.
• Must perform essential functions and meet attendance requirements; must not pose a threat to health or safety.
