DESCRIPTION
The Marketing Manager is a creative strategist who brings visual storytelling and brand excellence in service of exceptional design. Working closely with Partners and studio leadership, this role shapes the firm's public presence through proposals, publications, social media, and digital platforms while maintaining the highest standards of visual quality and brand consistency. This position requires balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution, managing multiple projects simultaneously from social media content to award submissions, photography coordination to publication management.
The successful candidate will orchestrate all aspects of marketing while ensuring activities align seamlessly with the firm's design ethos.
- Maintain and evolve graphic standards across all marketing materials (website, brochures, social media, presentations) demonstrating proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Organize and manage comprehensive marketing databases and Digital Asset Management System
- Perform graphic design duties supporting architectural presentations and marketing materials
- Coordinate preparation of proposals, RFQs, award submissions, and reports from draft through final production, ensuring accuracy and timely completion
- Collaborate with staff, partners, and consultants throughout proposal development
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate social media postings (Instagram, using tools like Later), creating compelling stills and reels
- Develop, measure, and manage social media metrics to track engagement and impact
- Stay current with latest media campaigns, best practices and digital marketing technologies
- Coordinate photo/video shoots with clients, photographers, stylists and staff; understand photographer rights and usage agreements
- Manage relationships with publishers, editors, and publicists
- Source, vet, hire and manage vendors (photographers, videographers, web developers)
- Assist in the planning,execution and follow-up of book tour and office events
- Manage budgets for external collaborators and marketing initiatives; participate in strategic annual budgeting with Partners and Studio Director
- Organize office events (salons, retreats) managing details, logistics, schedules and promotion
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Graphic Design, or related field
- 5-8 years marketing experience, preferably in architecture, design, or professional services
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office
- Hands-on experience with social media platforms, particularly Instagram and content management tools
- Proven experience managing photography production and coordinating with creative professionals
- Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent project management skills with ability to meet strict deadlines across multiple priorities
