Overview
The Raising Gang Foreman has the function of supervising work crews and coordinating their materials and equipment requirements for each assigned project. Thrives in a fast-pace environment and works to complete assignments in a quick and efficient manner. Highly knowledgeable in Structural Ironwork, specifically in raising gangs. Site Requirement:
Must be a US Citizen and be able to pass Background Check.
- Offer per-diem and travel pay.
- Provide medical and insurance benefits.
- 40-hour bonus payout and paid holidays after 1 year.
- 80-hour bonus payout after 2 years.
- 120-hour bonus payout after 5 years.
- Maintain safety and quality at the job site; ensure optimal workflow, quality, and safety by coordinating with other Foremen.
- Responsible for the safety of LPR personnel assigned to them. Identify, notify of, and resolve any risks inherent in the construction of the project, striving for proactive and intentional leadership in a zero-injury safety culture.
- Ensure the quality of the work performed by the crew by adhering to LPR Quality plans and designs to meet or exceed the quality control plan.
- Maintain efficient construction review of design to identify the optimum balance between schedule, cost, quality, function and aesthetics. Participate in implementing effective schedule changes.
- Input data related to field operations into project files, logs, records including payroll time entry in a thorough, timely, and effective manner.
- Plan, coordinate, and schedule equipment needed for the work area of responsibility.
- Foreman may perform labor in completing crew tasks (e.g., welding, installing bolts, layout, unload trucks, operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, aerial lifts, etc.).
- Report all accidents to the GF and Safety Dept. within one hour after necessary EMS steps have been taken to care for the injured worker or secure the job site for continued safety.
- Establish and maintain positive, long-term relationships with customers.
- Ability to understand and execute erection drawings.
- Structural Steel 5 years+, Precast Erection 3 years+ experience in craft supervising.
- Flexible schedule to work additional hours.
- Rigger Signal Experience.
- NCCER Gold Rigger Card certification preferred. However, not required as long as the candidate can pass the company's Rigger Signal Assessment.
- OSHA 30 Certified preferred, however, not required.
