Superintendent, Construction

Bartek Construction Co., a San Antonio underground utility construction company, is currently seeking an experienced Superintendent/Project Manager. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Oversee entire construction process from mobilization to close out.
• Maintain project schedule and coordinate department personnel and equipment accordingly.
• Monitor construction projects and ensure a successful and timely completion.
• Communicate details of the project to appropriate individuals, both with Bartek management, GC and Owner representatives as needed.
• Attend all production meetings.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Maintain administrative aspects of job, including marked prints, daily production reports, etc.
• Report and maintain reports for change order submission, if appropriate.
• Assist estimators in the bidding process.

• Must demonstrate a sound understanding of underground utility installation and supervision of construction operations.
• Must demonstrate a thorough knowledge of underground utility construction practices and methods.
• Must have experience with underground utility projects ranging from $250K to $2M range.
• Must have experience handling multiple jobs at the same time.
• Degree a plus, but not required with appropriate experience.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug testing.
• Basic Computer Skills.
• Osha 10 and First Aid/CPR training are a plus.
