Position Type: Part-Time (15hrs/week)

Office: Jovie of San Antonio

Location: San Antonio, TX 78260

Pay: Minimum starting rate $17/hr (Eligibility for wage increases in the future pending performance reviews)

• 6:00 AM – 9:00 AM
• Consistent, school-year schedule

• Greet children in the morning and help them get ready for the day
• Prepare and serve a light breakfast
• Assist the 6-year-old and 2-year-old with hair and morning routines
• Ensure older children are ready and safely catch the school bus in front of the home
• Safely load the younger children into the family vehicle and transport them to Pineapple School
• Return to the home after drop-off
• Tidy the kitchen after breakfast
• Light organization and clean-up of children’s areas

• Strong prior professional childcare or nanny experience required (experience managing multiple children and school routines is a must)
• Comfortable confidently leading a structured morning routine
• Safe driving record and confidence transporting children
• Dependable, punctual, and calm under pressure
• Strong communication skills with both children and parents

• Predictable morning-only schedule
• No pets in the home
• Organized household with clear expectations
• Supportive family that values experience and professionalism

• A seasoned, confident, and steady presence during busy weekday mornings
• Patience, warmth, and authority when working with children of varying ages
• Respect for family routines and values
• A proactive, dependable, and helpful attitude

The Hiring Process will include a Virtual Interview with our Recruiting/Hiring Manager,
Erin Granados
, followed by reference reach out. Once we have all feedback, we will schedule a virtual meeting with our Owner/Family Placement Manager, Lynn Johnson. From there she will get you scheduled for either an in-person or virtual meeting with the family. If chosen for the position you will attend an In-Person Onboarding Orientation, and from there you may start with the family.
