Toddler Teacher

Mama Bear’s Learning Center in San Antonio, TX is seeking multiple Toddler Teachers to join their team of professionals. We are located in Southeast San Antonio.

• Supervise and monitor children's indoor and outdoor activities.
• Preparing and assisting children with learning activities.
• Keep records of children’s progress, routines and interests and relaying needed information to parents and the Program Director.
• Maintain contact with the children’s parents and contact them in case of an emergency.
• Assist in preparing food and serving meals.
• Maintain a clean and sterile environment throughout the day.
• Clean interactive areas throughout the day.
• Organize activities and develop curriculum for older children.
• Develop a schedule for the children to maintain throughout the day.

• At minimum, high school diploma required.

• Minimum two – five (2-5) years of experience working with children preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Proven experience in this field is a plus.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to teach constructive behavior and social skills.
• Child Development Certification (CDA) a plus.
• Ability to lift, bend and stand as required.
• Current Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED Certification a plus.
• Available Monday - Friday between 6:00 a.m. & 6:00 p.m.
• Advanced multitasking and organizational skills to manage multiple children of all ages.

Mama Bear Learning Center provides professional learning/daycare services to children ranging from ages 6 weeks to 10 years old.
