Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS)We are hiring for a Materials Management & Transportation Manager (K Level) to join the team located in San Antonio, TX
.
- Oversees warehouse activities which may include inventory management, chemical management, kitting & fulfillment, shipping, receiving.
- Manages and integrates employees activities across more than one area in materials management and transportation.
- Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
- Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
- Manages, develops and motivates employees.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)- 3+ years of experience in supply chain, warehousing, or materials management.
- 3+ years of experience in a complex multi-functional environment.
- 1+ years of experience leading teams and team development.
- Experience in facilitating or helping to lead process improvement activities.
- Ability to work alternative shifts as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Experience in lean processes and initiatives.
- Experience interfacing with the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA).
- Previous experience with Compass Contract (MRP) System and/or another MRP system.
Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
ShiftThis position will be expected to work 1st Shift on most occasions; however, the assigned candidate may need to work other shifts as business conditions change.
RelocationRelocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
TravelPosition may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Summary pay range: $107,100 – $132,300 USD.
