Marketing Coordinator

Overview

Fueling Success in this Role: VP Racing is seeking entry-level Marketing Coordinator who is looking to launch their career in marketing and customer engagement to join our dynamic marketing team at our Corporate Headquarters in San Antonio, TX. As a Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for driving business growth by managing inbound and outbound customer interactions, supporting both B2B and B2C audiences, and leveraging Salesforce as a marketing and sales enablement platform.

This role combines the skills of a customer engagement specialist with the strategic mindset of a marketing operation specialist, ensuring that all sales leads are proactively followed up on, campaigns are executed to support key business priorities, and the call center delivers exceptional service that strengthens the VP Racing brand.

• Support planning, scheduling, and execution of marketing campaigns and outreach.
• Assist with website updates, content management, and basic troubleshooting.
• Handle inbound/outbound calls, provide product information, and follow up on sales leads.
• Maintain and update Salesforce with accurate data, notes, and reports to support sales/marketing efforts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve performance, support product launches, and deliver a positive customer experience.
• Continuously build product knowledge and assist with other duties as needed.

The ideal candidate must be extremely organized and able to manage the logistics of multiple duties with professionalism and strong communication skills. In addition, strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment is critical for success in the role, as are high levels of accuracy, timeliness and dependability. We are looking for someone who can establish and maintain effective working relationships within the organization, work effectively with all levels of employees and management, and assist in providing solutions to challenges that arise.

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, or a related field, along with at least one (1) year of professional experience in marketing, customer service, or related field AND/OR any combination of education and experience that results in the applicable skills, knowledge, and abilities.
• Minimum 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience (call center experience a plus).
• Familiarity with Salesforce or willingness to learn CRM tools.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
