We are currently seeking a Benefits Account Manager to join our Employee Benefits Insurance team. You will serve Benefits clients (large groups of 100+), including both client companies and their employees. Working within a service team of Account Managers, Account Executives, Account Coordinators, Marketing Analysts, and others, along with consultants/sales producers, the Benefits Account Manager delivers a client experience that meets the agency’s quality and service standards.
This position is in downtown San Antonio, TX. After onboarding, a hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days remote) schedule is available.
Responsibilities- Serve Benefits clients (100+ employees) and support client companies and their employees.
- Lead pre-renewal, renewal, and enrollment processes.
- Act as a resource to clients on daily service needs, current market conditions, and regulatory changes.
- Coordinate with a service team and consultants to deliver high-quality client experiences.
- 3+ years of employee benefits experience, including group medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and ancillary products. Self-funded plan experience is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with excellent verbal and written communications.
- Proficiency in computer software applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, Adobe). Experience with Benefit Point and Image Right is helpful. Bilingual in English and Spanish is helpful.
- Texas General Lines Life & Health insurance license required within 60 days of employment and maintained throughout employment.
