Business Development Manager – Staffing & Workforce Solutions

We’re partnered with an established staffing firm that’s been building momentum for more than two decades. Headquartered in Texas, the business operates across multiple states and has supported clients nationwide. Today, the majority of its growth comes from light industrial and skilled trades staffing, supported by additional capabilities across clerical, finance, and professional services.

About the Role

This is a pure business development role built for a true hunter. Your job is to open doors, win new clients, and build revenue from the ground up. Once accounts are established, delivery and recruiting teams take over execution, allowing you to stay focused on doing what you do best: creating new business.

What You’ll Do
  • Identify, prospect, and win new clients within the light industrial and skilled trades
  • Open new markets and expand the company’s footprint
  • Lead sales conversations with decision-makers and close staffing solutions
  • Own pricing, margin conversations, and contract negotiations
  • Build a personal book of business with long-term earning potential
  • Work closely with the delivery team for a collective success
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven hunter mentality with a track record of opening new business
  • 2–5+ years of B2B sales experience (staffing experience preferred, not required)
  • Strong prospecting, cold outreach, and closing skills
  • Experience selling into industrial, construction, manufacturing, logistics, or similar environments is a plus
  • Competitive, money-motivated mindset
  • Comfortable operating with autonomy and accountability
