Jordan Ford is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our service department. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience in diagnostics, repairs, and vehicle maintenance, and takes pride in delivering accurate, efficient service. Whether it’s performing routine maintenance or solving complex mechanical issues, you’ll play a key role in keeping our customers safe and satisfied.

- Receive repair orders and complete work efficiently, accurately, and thoroughly.
- Diagnose customer concerns and recommend/perform appropriate repairs.
- Perform inspections and repairs on various vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, and alignment.
- Conduct test drives and utilize diagnostic tools and special equipment.
- Work with the parts department and service advisors to communicate vehicle status and additional service needs.
- Estimate time requirements for repairs and assist in scheduling.
- Execute repairs under manufacturer warranty specifications.
- Complete multi‑point inspections to identify safety issues or upcoming repairs.
- Perform general maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and tune‑ups.
- Use power tools safely and in compliance with dealership/manufacturer standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Work both independently and as part of a team to meet productivity goals.
- Previous automotive technician experience required.
- Ford experience required.
- ASE certifications preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor in a shop environment.
- Strong diagnostic skills and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Positive attitude and a collaborative, team‑oriented mindset.
